Backtagging: Yes, especially since I'm a slow tagger!
Threadjacking: In most cases, yes. I'm fine with it, but Sam will probably back off if someone randomly threadjacks, especially if it's an adult he doesn't know.
Fourthwalling: For now I would say no, especially since, well, he's in the movie for like ten minutes.
Gore level comfortable with? Irrelevant. He's not going to be getting brutalized in any way. This is non-negotiable.

Hugging, kissing, touching, flirting with this character? Even just the hugging is an easy way to scare Sam off. He's not the most comfortable with people, especially strangers. Other kids can feel free.
Fighting, injuring, and killing this character? The first two in a very mild form are acceptable, i.e. getting into a slap fight with another kid. Scrapes and bruises are okay. ABSOLUTELY NO on death for Sam. Just. No. Don't care how tragic it would be. As a new aunt, absolutely no way ever no no no no.
Any other info? Not that I know of? Again, just remember he's a kid.
